Summer Garden Tour and Perennials Growing Workshop, Friday 12 July 10am - 12.30pm
Join us for a tour of the cutting garden where we will show you what we are growing, what is currently in bloom and how we harvest our flowers. We will discuss which perennials we use for cutting and we will sow a selection of biannual and perennial seed varieties and learn how to propagate some of our favourite perennial plants for cutting.
You will take home your seed trays, propagated plants and will have the opportunity to cut a vase of flowers to take home. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
This workshop will be held in the mini marquee in the walled garden and refreshments will be provided. Please note that at this time of year, most of the flowers we grow are outside so if it is raining we will cut the flowers beforehand so you are not cutting in the rain.
